4 Criteria

Grading Criteria

Strict standards. Clear evidence.

Every evaluation is built on four objective indicators.

01

Corners

1 – 10

Corners are assessed for whitening, damage, flatness, and peeling edges.

02

Edges

1 – 10

Edges are evaluated following the same criteria as Corners.

03

Surface

1 – 10

The card's surface is evaluated for scratches, micro-scratches, dirt, deterioration, color changes, creases, dents, water damage, and ink stains.

04

Centering

8 – 10

Centering is rated between 8 and 10.

Cards with centering below 8 are considered significantly off-center and are marked as OC.

Note: For scores of 9 or above, each criterion is rated in increments of 0.5. In the final evaluation, any decimals are rounded down.

Final Rating

Final Evaluation

The final score is not a simple average — it is derived from the lowest of the four indicators.

If the lowest rating appears only in one criterion, the final grade is increased by one grade level.
