01 — 2024

The beginning

Super Dragon Ball Heroes is announced to end when Super Divers launches.

  4. Preview at Dragon Ball Daimatsuri

The card list is published the same day.

  5. Set 1

    Series

  6. Advance Pack

A pack sold in stores, with 30 cards to collect and 3 cards per pack.

02 — 2025

    Pickup Rare debuts.

  2. Advance Pack 2

  3. Set 5

    Secret debuts.

  4. First anniversary event, Cho Shunen BUPPA Fes

Hosts the national final of Championship 2025, the first Championship.

  5. Set 7 "Konshin no Ichigeki"

    Series

Sets now carry "… no Ichigeki" titles. The BUPPA System is added, each set now has two Secrets (SDV7-SEC and SDV7-SEC2), and Secret parallels (SEC★) arrive.

03 — 2026

The 40th anniversary, and today

  1. Set 8 "Densetsu no Ichigeki"

Centred on the Future Trunks saga of Dragon Ball Super and the film Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

  2. Advance Pack DRAGON BALL 40th Anniversary Edition

For Dragon Ball’s 40th anniversary, with gold-patterned Super Parallels (★★).

  3. Set 10 "Funjin no Ichigeki"

A launch campaign introduces Movie Poster Cards (SDVP promos) styled like film posters.

  4. Advance Pack Battle of Saiyan

  5. Set 12 "Honno no Ichigeki"

On cards with heavy foil finishes, such as God Rare holo and gold foil, small surface scratches and corner and edge whitening are more likely to make the difference between grades.

Knowledge

Collector's Notes

  • Reading the card number

The number printed vertically on the right edge of the front, such as "SDV1-002", is the card number; the figure after "SDV" is the set. The rarity (such as GDR) is printed below it, and the back shows the same number and rarity in the top right.

  • ★ marks a parallel

A card with the same number but a ★, as in "GDR★", is a parallel with different art or finish. ★★ is a Super Parallel. The number alone can’t tell them apart, so check the printed rarity.

  • Rarity abbreviations

Normal (N), Rare (R), Super Rare (SR), God Rare (GDR), Pickup Rare (PUR), Secret (SEC), Extra Rare (EXR) and more. God Rare is abbreviated "GDR", not "GR".

  • The prefix tells you where it came from

"EX1-" is an Extra Rare from Set 1, "SDVP" a campaign or event promo, "SDVPJ" a bonus with magazines and books, and numbers starting with "AP" (AP, AP2, AP3, APT) are Advance Pack cards.

  • Telling it from Heroes cards

A "DRAGON BALL SUPER DIVERS" logo in the top left of the back and a number starting with "SDV" or similar mark a Super Divers card. Super Dragon Ball Heroes cards work in the machine’s SDBH Mode, but only the designated link cards can be used in Super Divers’ own modes.

  • Location test cards

The 14 cards from the pre-launch location tests, TEST-001 to 014, were only available then.

How to Submit

Tips for your submission

Where to find the card number

The number in the top right of the back, such as "SDV9-019", is the card number, and the figure after "SDV" is the set. The same number is also printed vertically on the right edge of the front. Search the set field by set or pack name.

The same number can also come as a ★ parallel. Choose by the rarity printed next to the number (such as GDR★).

  • Set 1 or Set 10?

"SDV1-0xx" and "SDV10-0xx" differ only in the figure before the hyphen. Check the start of the number before choosing the set.

  • Promo cards

Cards starting with "SDVP", "SDVPJ" and similar were given out in campaigns, with magazines and books, and so on. Type in the campaign, magazine or book you got them from, as far as you know.
