Each card is assessed on four criteria to determine its grade.
Centering
How far the artwork is off-center

Whitening and damage along the edges

Before you submit
Cards we cannot grade
- Signed cards
- Cards larger than 63 × 88 mm or 59 × 86 mm, or thicker than 0.5 mm
- Cards from games not listed above

We remove the card from another grading company's slab and re-grade it at Gemix. Because Gemix grades to its own standard, the grade may differ from the original.
