Knowledge

Collector's Notes

  • Five series

Sets 1–8 (SH) were followed by Universe Mission (UM), Big Bang Mission (BM), Ultra God Mission (UGM) and Meteor Mission (MM).

  • Stars show the rarity

The stars below the number in the top left of the back show the rarity. Common is ★, Rare ★★, Super Rare ★★★ and Ultimate Rare ★★★★. Officially, Secrets are Ultimate Rares (★★★★) too.

  • Kinds of Secret

Numbers containing "SEC" (including SEC2, SEC3 and so on) are Secrets, "ASEC" Anniversary Secrets and "LSEC" special Secrets from campaigns, final sets and the like.

  • Same number, different card

Besides the regular version, there are parallel, Super Parallel and Dramatic Art (DA) versions. Some cards, like UGM1-SEC2, carry two characters on one card through a Change ability (the official list shows them as two rows under one number).

  • Reprints with the original number

Cards with LC, CP or BCP after the number, such as "UM1-SEC LC" or "SH1-SEC2 BCP", are earlier cards reprinted in later sets, campaigns or products (P, SP and DA mark parallel and other versions).

  • Cards that work in Super Divers

Designated link cards such as MM6-001 and MM6-SEC also work as battle cards in the successor, Super Divers. Other cards were announced to be playable in its SDBH Mode.

How to Submit

Tips for your submission

Where to find the card number

The number in the top left of the back, such as "BM11-ASEC", is the card number. The letters at the start tell you the series: SH is Sets 1–8, UM Universe Mission, BM Big Bang Mission, UGM Ultra God Mission and MM Meteor Mission, followed by the set number. Search the set field by set name.

Cards with letters such as "LC" or "CP" after the number are reprints that kept their original number, in later sets, campaigns or products. Choose the set or product they actually came in.

  • Secret cards

For numbers containing "SEC", "ASEC" or "LSEC", even with a digit or letters such as LC or P after them, choose "Secret Rare" as the rarity.

  • Promo cards

Numbers starting with P, such as "PUMS", "PBBS" or "PCS", don’t refer to an arcade set. They come from retail booster packs, binders, card gummies and so on. Type in the product you got them from, as far as you know.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. From Set 1 to Meteor Mission 6, every card is graded on the same criteria.

  • We currently accept Japanese cards only.

  • Numbers starting with H, HG, HJ or HGD are Dragon Ball Heroes cards, and those starting with SDV are Super Divers cards. Choose the matching card game when you submit. However, cards with LC, CP or BCP after an H-series number were reprinted in Super Dragon Ball Heroes, so choose Super Dragon Ball Heroes for them.

  • Sorry, we do not grade signed cards.

  • Yes, with Crossover. We remove the card from the slab (PSA, CGC or BGS) and grade it again at Gemix. Because we grade on our own standards, the grade may differ from the original.
