Knowledge

Collector's Notes

  • Reading the card number

In a card number such as "RD/5TH1-JP001" (bottom right), "RD/" marks Rush Duel, "5TH1" is the product code, "JP" is the language, and the rest is the card’s number.

  • The number does not show the rarity

The same card number can come in different rarities, such as Super Rare and Over Rush Rare. Identify the rarity by the card’s finish.

  • Telling Rush Duel from OCG

A number starting with "RD/" and a "RUSH DUEL" logo at the bottom center mark a Rush Duel card. Rush Duel and OCG cards cannot be mixed in play.

  • Legend Cards

Cards with a "LEGEND" mark in the top left of the art. Since 2023, you can include up to one Legend Monster, one Legend Spell and one Legend Trap in your Deck.

  • Premium rarities over time

From Rush Rare (2020) to Gold Rush Rare (2021), Over Rush Rare (2022) and Full Over Rush Rare (2026), ever more elaborate finishes have been added.

  • Cards with English numbers

There is no English edition on general sale. Some World Championship prizes carry "EN" numbers such as "RD/2024-EN001".

How to Submit

Tips for your submission

Where to find the card number

The number in the bottom right, such as "RD/5TH1-JP001", is the card number, and the four characters after "RD/" (5TH1) are the product code. Search the set field by product code or set name.

The same card number can come in different rarities. Choose the rarity by looking at the card’s finish.

  • Choosing the rarity

Rarities in the list appear by their full names without abbreviations, such as "Over Rush Rare". Read abbreviations like ORR or GRR as the full name.

  • Reprints and promos

Reprints are printed with the code of the new product. For campaign or tournament cards you can’t identify, type in the product or event you got them from, as far as you know.
